It's the shiRt

Yep, I made it alright. Took me 2 days...the first day I cut it all out and start to sew it together and realized I forgot to buy the bias tape and had to stop and wait til morning to go buy some. Total time spent was probably 5 hours start to finish (including several breaks to change the cd's and refill my iced coffee...lol)

If anyone is interested I'll go take a picture of the pattern front and post the pattern info so you can go find it too, it's super easy and I'm a sorta beginner at this. I did alter the pattern slightly, I added slits on the sides, lengthened it by 1.5 inches and added the two darts underneath the chest because otherwise it looked like i was wearing a pillowcase...lol. But i love how it turned out and i got several compliments at work today!!

Very cute! I have this pattern too, but I've only gotten as far as cutting the pattern out :) I've got to find some time to sew for me! You did a really good job, what kind of fabric did you use, I like it!

Hey Harley, I just used cheap cotton, it was a practice shirt, I'm gonna make it again with a polyester/spandex blend I think, I want something really lightweight and sorta stretchy for summer.
