Oh and in case you cant tell, I used flocking instead of coloring in the peach, so its FUZZY! lol :)

A new Sweet Stop Sketch :)

Todays post is gonna be a quick one, I am super tired and my coffee is almost finished brewing...lol. By the way, I noticed this morning on my fresh bag of starbucks beans that they had an offer for a free tall cup of brewed coffee if you take in your empty bag within 30 days of the *best before* date. How cool is that? Make sure you check your Starbucks bags!! :)

Okay, now back to the Sweet Stop Sketch...lol. I loved this sketch, so easy to work with! I cant wait to see what everyone comes up with this week!

Sweet Stop Sketch #51

Back again with another sketch challenge from The Sweet Stop! Did you all get a chance to play along last week? I hope so :) This week the sketch is just as fabulous, so I hope you are ALL inspired to go create something and share it with the rest of us. Make sure to add your links to MR. LINKY on the Sweet Stop Blog so that we can all ooh and ahh!!

So, my card again was aiming more toward non-gender specific...much like last week. And since I am always in need of birthday cards I used the same stamp set as last week. I really do love this set, its a mini set from Stampendous called Two You, I snagged it on clearance from Mikes a while back.

For this card, I was really aiming for non-gender specific since I supply the birthday cards at work...and I have a HARD time making male cards...lol. So how did I do? Is ice cream too girly?? hope not!

Sweet Stop Sketch #48

Hey there everyone, for some strange reason I am feeling UBER productive today and have been whipping out cards like crazy. This one is for the current Sweet Stop Sketch challenge SSS48. Its a super cute sketch, and I may use is a few times since its super versatile! Oh and the spin for this card is fuzzy wuzzy, for that I used a stitched felt ribbon, all the while wishing I had some flower soft but alas, I still havent been able to order any online. Its kinda pricey after you add in shipping and handling and all 40 bagillion colors that you just have to have...LOL. someday soon though... :)

Card Supplies:
Patterned Papers: Cosmo Cricket, Bella Blvd. , Kraft Cardstock
Felt Ribbon, Button from Cosmo Cricket, Bling from ZVA, twine, ribbon scrap
Digital Stamp: Whimsie Doodles Paws I Care set
clear stamp: studio g best friend sentiment

SSS28....a la RV...

Well, kids, it has been a total and complete joy working with these awesome sketches for the Sweet Stop.

This week called for a tall card, and well, I just dont know how well I like tall cards...lol. SO I made a sorta tall card. My card is 4x6. I know, its really not much different than a standard A2 card, but to me, it feels tall. ;)

I tried to pretty much stick to the sketch this week, although I did flip it upside down because I wanted my bow on top of the card. But that is all, I swear...lol. Well that and I used a bow instead of a flower, but lets not get all nit-picky alright. hehe.

Well, here is my card!! Whattaya think??

This card is actually for my little sister, its her birthday tomorrow, and she is a wilderness girl for sure...so may I should have used a tent? LOL.

Supplies:
Papers - Bazzill, Heidi Grace (Fiskars)
Stamps - Bella Blvd. Camped Out
Ribbon - May Arts
misc. - glitter glue, dimensional foam adhesive

Sweet Stop sketch day is here!

Ready for another fun day of sitting around in pajamas sipping coffee with me? Good! Because I have a head start on ya...lol

So I am back again with another great sketch from the Sweet Stop Sketch Challenge Blog! Isnt this a fabulous sketch?! I really love these sketches that let me load up the layers...lol. I actually kept my layering pretty tame on this card today, but you all know me well enough by now to not be surprised by how many I pack on my cards. lol.

This card makes me kinda happy. Its pink and peach and pretty...lol. I have had this SEI paper in my stash for a year now, waiting for the right project. I love it, dont get me wrong, I just didnt have a clue what to do with it. I think it goes great with these cute Stampendous fishies, dont you? (By the way, I am loving this fishbowl stamp, I wouldnt be surprised to see it appear again without the fish inside...lol)

Thanks for stopping by again for another fun sketch. Sadly, next week is my last week as a guest Sugar Baby...lets make it a week to remember shall we? (Okay, well, I am not really planning anything, just gonna make another card...LOL. But it will be a good one darn it!)

Dont forget to head on over to the Sweet Stop and see the rest of the cards made with this sketch, and after you create your own card upload it to mr linky so we can all see it too!!

Its Time for new Sweet Stop Sketch!!

Yippeee, its time for a new Sweet Stop sketch!! I have to admit, these sketches are my saving grace most days, I swear my mojo takes more vacations than the post office! (Oh wait, was that rude to say?)....This new sketch is a super fun one, it even has a spin on it! Along with using the sketch, you also need to incorporate something recycled! How fun is that?!

So heres my card...Not exactly like the sketch, but I think I got the major elements stuffed in there. Instead of a circle, I used my label2 nestie dies, and the three sentiment strips morphed into my pink awareness ribbon. Hey at least the flowers stayed put, right? BY the way, those flowers were punched from a old PaperCrafts Magazine issue...hehe. Isnt it nice when things just work out? (And by work out, I mean, isnt it nice when you finally find the right colored magazine ad after digging through SEVEN old magazines? hahaha)
So there you have it, make sure you hop on over to the Sweet Stop challenge blog for more information and instructions for participating in this awesome sketch challenge! And if you are in the market for some cute new clear stamps or digital images to play with, jump on over to Sweet N Sassy Stamps!

Ready for a new sketch??

Are ya ready? Are ya ready?? I know I am!! Okay...I first need to start off by letting you all know that this blog is infected with sickie germs right now. Yup. I am feeling rather ill. But dont worry its just a dumb head cold...nothing nearly as exciting as the Swine Flu. ;)

I am currently all dosed up on my Alka Seltzer Plus Cold, love that stuff! It kicks in and works like nobodys business on me! What is your favorite cold remedy? I am always curious what works for other people. Just leave me a comment on this post!

Now onto to the real reason why you stopped by my little ole blog...time for a new Sketch Challenge from the Sweet Stop!! Make sure you hop on over and post up your lovely creations in the mr linky box on the Sweet Stop challenge blog so that everyone can see.

Well, there is my card this week...what do we all think? Its a lot simpler than I usual do, but this stamp set is just so serene that I couldnt see adding gobs of distraction to it. This wonderful set is by Sweet n Sassy stamps, and it comes with some really beautiful sentiments.
Thanks for stopping by, I hope you can join me again on Sunday for more fun!

So first up for me, I am re-visiting my new (to me) Penny Black Bubbly stamp set, it only came with one sentiment though. Bummer. But who doesnt love a kitty in a bubble bath? LOL! OH and I am so loving this sketch that you may see it again from me this week, since it IS world cardmaking day and all, I am thinking of sequestering myself in my scrappy are and getting busy! I am the October Guest Sugar Baby over at Sweet Stop sketches!! Woohooo!! GO see for yourself!! I swear I am not making this up...lol.

So funny story...I was following a link on a blog and stumbled on the Sweet Stop Sketches challenge blog. I liked the sketch. I made a card using the sketch and posted in the mr. linky on their blog. and BAM the next day I got an email saying that I was chosen as a finalist based on my entry. Holy smokes! Then two days after that I got an email inviting me to join as the guest for the month of October! Quite the lucky mouse click wouldnt you say? I have never been one to count myself lucky, but I think it might be in my best interest to go buy a few lottery tickets tomorrow...LOL.

I am so excited to be a part of the challenge blog for the duration of October and I hope you all will join in the fun with me! This has certainly been an exciting year for me in the world of online paper crafting! I am glad I finally decided to put my foot out and test the waters!
