Shell We chat?

Well, Shell we? ;) I am totally loving the swiss dots these days, can you tell?! This card coordinates with another card I made a while back, but I was holding out on you and never shared it. Sneaky of me, I know...lol.

This card is featuring another adorable image from the Whimsie Doodles Stitch ems rubber stamp set. Super cut huh?

Oh and for those of you keeping track of me, I am still pushing hard to shed more weight. Since completing Insanity I have dropped another 5 pounds. I got about 3 weeks into the Jillian Michaels 30 day shred, but that alone wasnt enough for me. I was using my Gazelle machine for up to an hour a day along with the 20 minute Jillian workouts. Then I stumbled on the TurboJam workouts and wow, I am hooked. I am a week into Turbo Jam. I will continue with the jamming until July when the brand new Beachbody TURBO FIRE high intensity workout is released to the public. I am soooo super excited about it!! Yes, it will be spendy, I am guess around the $120 range, but it will be so worth the investment in myself and my health.

Pure Insanity

Have you all heard of the Insanity workout yet? If not...go HERE. But I warn you, that link is not for the weak...

I dont know how I got to this point. I was perfectly content working out with my EA Sports Active on the Wii. Then I decided to record a couple work outs from the FIT channel on tv just to see if I found something I could stick to. So my hubby and I were watching a few of the programs and he offhandedly asked if I had heard of P90x...nope...so we pulled up the infomercial. which scared me a little. then he had to go and tell me *oh thats nothing, have you seen Insanity?!*...

why no I had not...So we pulled that up and I was REALLY scared...and for some reason my husband actually had in his possession a copy of Insanity. And for some other reason, which I am still confused about, I heard myself saying *sure I will give it a try*...

wait...what?! Yeah. It was a mental hicup. And now here I sit after having completed my 8th insanity workout and I am still going (mostly) strong. I have never been an athletic person by the way, so these workouts are KILLING me. But I can already fit back into some of the pants that I had banished to the bottom dresser drawer so I am happy. (by the way, that bottom dresser drawer usually houses my clothing for a year or so until I realize I am just never gonna fit into it again and finally donate it to charity.)

So why did I just tell you all of this? Because I felt like it...so there...LOL. Now onto what you really came here for, a pretty card!

Today I have another Whimsie Doodles card to share, this one is featuring one of the new baby bear images. Love them!! Make sure you stop in again, because I have plenty more cuteness on the way, including another little baby bear card!!

Woohoo New Whimsie Doodles!

TGIF indeed! I cant speak for anyone else, but this has been a long week for me! I have been able to squeak out some time to dig into my paper though, so I cant complain too much.

Today is release day over at Whimsie Doodles, and there are some awesome new stamps to work with, both digital and red rubber. Here are two cards I made using the new red rubber set called How Sweet. What a fun set this is too, the cute berries, two napkins to choose from, a cute jar label and fun sayings....I could spend an entire day just playing with this set...but since I have two toddlers to care for I really cant do that...lol.

Anyway, here are some samples from this set:

Join me again soon for more yummy goodness from Whimsie Doodles!

Happy Weekend one and all...

After a full week of pure insanity, I am so so happy to be able to kick back in my jammies and just hang out with the kiddoes today. And of course, a day of relaxing would not be complete without playing with some pretty paper. ;)

Today I have a couple more cards to share, I used the Whimsie Doodles easter releases for these cards. Enjoy!!

Time for some Easter cards!

Have you ever wondered what happens to your craft supplies while you are at work? Well I sure found out...apparently my craft supplies like to take themselves out of their storage containers and make an enourmous mess. Or so my four year old tried to tell me...

I found about 6 envelopes with purple Changito monkies stamped on them, they were even colored in! (Although they were a little roughly colored, I hope my copics managed to survive the assault!) I even found an entire tube of my pretty orange and white micro glitter dumped on the carpet...wonder how that got down there...(oh wait, thats right, Glitter mulitplies by osmosis if you arent careful, I bet it just got too full for the container and exploded right?) And I have yet to find out what happened to my other 5 tubes of glitter, but I would like to get them back before they explode too...any ideas where those boogers could be hidden?

Oh well, to the pretty Easter cards I suppose...

These cards both feature the adorable new Easter designs by Whimsie Doodles, Leah on her Easter Basket and Koale hanging out with his Chicks. I also hade a brilliant burst of creativity when I realized that my Basic Grey Lemonade papers look great for Easter themes, yeah, sometimes I amaze even me...ROFL!
