Congrats Grad!

Graduation season already?! It went from snowstorms to graduation parties in the blink of an eye over here! Crazy...

So this card is my humble attempt at Graduation...all i had to work with are studio g's small stamps, and my solution for small stamps is usually inchie panels...lol. I've used this similar format on my cupcake card a few weeks ago...but i hopefully changed it up enough to make it new and exciting!

oh and I stamped a sentiment panel for the inside as well on this one. I first stamped the sentiment and let the ink dry for a few minutes. then stamped the yellow star and embossed it in a clear powder to give it a little more detail. i think it turned out super cute....

Mother's Day Butterflies

well, i'm officially done with this year's mothers day cards! (then again, i only had to make 2...lol) This card was made using some older supplies and some new stuff, so i felt like i was actually using my supplies rather than buying new supplies for each card...lol. The ribbon slide is a die cut from the 4 piece cuttlebug slide set, Mikes had it on sale 50% off so i had to grab it!! so...in my experimenting i found that the George cricut cartridge makes perfect shapes to fit inside this oval, first off the rectangles 1 and 2 on size 1 1/4" are perfect, and shown above, i used the Oval 1 on size 1 1/2" with the shadow function, and then trimmed off the two sides to accomodate the slide holes. Cute huh? I will be making little packets of these slide shapes and white centers for my etsy shop. i know not everyone has a cricut for the centers or a cuttlebug for the slides, so i thought it would be nice to make some available.
Supplies used:
Cardstock - Bazzill
Patterned paper - Dollhouse line by K&Co
Butterflies - small ornate butterfly stamp by Amy Butler (K&Co), small butterfly with dotted flourish by Cloud 9 from the simple thoughts baby set, polka dot and side view butterfly are Autumn Leaves from one of the "mini" sets.
golden yellow mini brads - lasting impressions
die cut ribbon slide - cuttlebug die
oval center die cut - cricut, george cartridge

mmmm, Cupcakes....

Anyone else LOVING these cupcake studio g's? I know I am!! I was about 3/4's of the way through recording the video of this card in progress and wouldn't ya know it, my camera's memory card hit max and my camera turned off!! GRRR!! So I finished the card and decided to re-do this card layout for a new video later after I am less frustrated...lol. I should have checked the capacity before starting.
So I have a funny confession...I have been listening to the Twilight saga on mp3 while I scrapbook. I know, silly huh? I feel like a goofball listening to these let alone reading them, I mean they're written for teens. Sigh...oh well....I haven't quite decided how well I like them, but they're a nice diversion from the same old music. I'm about 1/2 way through Eclipse right now, but I feel like I am missing parts of the story when my mind wanders or when the kids start talking to me. I may have to grab the actual book when I have the moolah. I devoured the first two books in about 3 days. My eyes were practically bugging out of my head from the reading, serious eye strain...lol

New G's in the house!!

Happy Saturday indeed!! I begged and pleaded for someone to help me find this cute "some bunny {hearts} you" stamp set by Studio G, and wouldn't ya know it, someone did!! Thanks Shelle!!

I love that it's an easter set without being overly eastery, I can use it all year long if I so desire...lol. I could EASILY mask off that flower in her hand and stamp a candy cane instead and use it for christmas...or put a clover in her hand for St. Patricks Day... Seriously, CUTE stamps! And I could not wait to ink them up!!

Tropical ATC's

Happy Sunday everyone! I had a chance to make a few ATC's last night, I made them to coordinate with the card I posted yesterday. All the stamps are studio G here, they're a great size for such a small canvas. I was aiming for the "beachy" feel on these so I distressed the snot out of the papers...lol. Let me know what ya think.

Chill Out

Well, unless you're here in Washington where it is still freezing outside...lol.

Last night was a super fun online crop over at AMR, and putz that I am never blogged about it to make sure you all could join in the fun. I deserve a seat in the corner for that one. But I will share the challenge I hosted last night.

The theme of the crop was Tropical Vacation, and boy was it a fun one. The forum is still open today to play along in the challenges and see all the fun projects being posted. Here's the link for that. Feel free to join us on the message board! Just a heads up though, if you dont take the time to honestly fill in the profile information you may not get accepted for registration. There are a lot of nasty spammers that like to sneak onto message boards, so All Moments Remembered is a private board for our safety. You cant even read anything without being a member, for that matter. It's a fun and encouraging place to hang out and I genuinely invite all of my readers to stop in and check it out.

Now onto the card!! My challenge was to use Spicy Tropical Colors (think rich reds, golds, oranges, turqoises...anything tropical that makes you feel like you're on a vacation!) along with tropical images. Here's mine:

DINO-MITE!

Hey Everyone! I had a little extra time this weekend so I got some stamping done, yahooo! Oh and I got some new paper, loving the DCWV animal cracker line, it's cute! The Dino stamp is an older Studio G wood mounted stamp.

I still dont totally have the hang of the copics but I think I'm getting better. I just have to find a decent paper, I like this one so far, it's a 100lb. drawing paper so it's super thick and seems to be making it easier to blend the inks.

BoBunny Christmas

Okay, one of my favorite paper lines to work with these days is BoBunny for sure, they're double dot cardstocks are amazing, and they coordinate so beautifully with the patterned papers! (Click HERE for a quick shopping spree...)
That being said, I fell head over heels for the holiday line called Holiday Cheer, this card used the "plaid" and "gumdrops" papers, yummy huh? The stamps here are studio G, series 22...just snagged them off ebay last week since my local stores dont understand the severity of my addiction....lol.
Anyway, enjoy the week!!

Little Elf Card using only Studio G

Ever wonder just what you're going to do with that pair of elf feet from the studio g series 22?? Well, you're going to build a cute little elf holding a letter to santa, of course! hehe. So, To create this little elf, I did have to dip into last years' studio g's, for the hat, one of the snowflakes, and the ho!ho!ho!ho! border, the remainder are from this years' sets. I am way too addicted to the cute little dollar stamp sets, and I am determined to use every single one of them before I keel over. This card alone used SEVEN different stamps, do you believe it?
Okay, quick step by step of what I did here...I started by stamping off the hat and feet onto white cardstock, I spaced them about 2ish inches apart, and then colored the feet. I didn't like my coloring on the hat, so I stamped it again on red patterned paper and trimmed it down to size. After gluing the pieced bit, I used liquid applique to make a fluffy brim. Measure the space between the hat and feet and cut out a rectangle to make a letter out of...I lucked out by having the north pole postage cancellation stamp, otherwise I would have hand drawn that. I tilted the letter at a slight angle to make it more interesting but you dont even have to do that much. And if you wanted to get super creative you could cut out little hands to hold the edges of the letter.
Thanks for stopping by today!
**Supplies:
Paper: Bazzill Cardstock, SandyLion (kelly panacci) patterned paper
Stamps: Studio G
Inks: Steward Superior, Studio G, Colorbox
Ribbon: Offray
Liquid Applique
and a single copic marker for the feet

This took longer than I planned!

Sorry I didn't get to this sooner, but hey, at least I got it done...lol. Here's my card, and I totally forgot my own rules...oops. I got the beverage part, but not the "hot". Oh well, here's to creativity. haha.

Oh, and hurry up and link me to your projects!! I will wait until the END of the day tomorrow to pick a winner, so you have all day tomorrow for last minute participation. Just make sure that you post the link in the comments to the contest post. And dont forget, you get a free set of stamps if you win!!

I call it: A Man Card!

This is the first attempt at "inchies" for me...yeah, those little 1x1 inch squares are a pain in the rear to cut with a paper trimmer! (I dont own a square punch, so I had to go old school on it...)
But hey, I got to justify my Studio G cheapie stamp binge somehow, right? Inchies are a GREAT way to utilize teeny tiny stamps that leave you clueless for how to emphasize them without "losing" them on the card.
Papers for this card are BoBunny Licorice Dot cardstock, and Basic Grey Infuse.
