Tropical ATC's
Happy Sunday everyone! I had a chance to make a few ATC's last night, I made them to coordinate with the card I posted yesterday. All the stamps are studio G here, they're a great size for such a small canvas. I was aiming for the "beachy" feel on these so I distressed the snot out of the papers...lol. Let me know what ya think.

Autumn ATC's
Hey there, sorry I'm a slacker these days, but then again blogger doesn't make you sign a contract require a minimum postings per week so I guess I'm okay...lol. Anywho, had some time for myself today and whipped out a few Autumn ATC's for an exchange over on AMR's message board.

Supplies: Bazzill cardstock, DCWV fall patterned paper, Cricut Celebrations cartridge (confetti for vines), buttons, studio g stamps.

ATC's around the web...
Well, I signed up for another ATC swap and I need to get a jump on figuring out what I'm going to make this round....so of course I hit the blog circuit for inspiration. And I decided I'd share what I'm finding with all of you!
Stampin Inspirations by Maria has a great wealth of ATC goodness to share! In fact, she even has a tutorial linked for a super cute acordian album to display the ATC's inside of!
Here's a great resource for all variety of sketches, and they just happen to have a category specifically for ATC's!
Splitcoast Stampers has a great little tutorial HERE. (Just ignore step 7, that's not part of the tutorial...LOL)
There's also a section of the Splitcoast Stampers gallery full of {for the most part} just ATC's!
Flickr has NUMEROUS groups dedicated to ATC's so here's a short list I found (of the many):
Artist Trading Cards
Moody Trading Cards (a little offbeat, but inspiration nonetheless)
ATC (Artist Trading Cards)
Here's a great site for various stamps you can use on the backs of the ATC's...I have no reference to give for this site, I just found it on google, so use your best judgement!
This ATC is just too cute!
StampOwl's collection of ATC's from her blog.
Look who's perky!
Loads of inspiration from a swap on Durcan Designs. And here's more!
okay, I think I've wasted enough time today, i really need to get to working on my own ATC's, the theme of the swap I joined is "Favorite Drink" so I'm excited!

ATC Stand
Okay, as much as I adore the 7 gypsies ATC spinner thing, I just dont have the space for it. So I came up with my own display for ATC's. I cut a bunch of craft cardstock down to 4.5x3 and punched holes in the top. Then I cut two pieces of chipboard the same dimension and covered them in cute paper. I also punched two extra holes on the bottom of each of the chipboard pieces to string ribbon through to stabilize the stand when it is opened up. I opted not to tie ribbon on the binder rings because I actually want to be able to flip through the little display once in a while and you cant do that with ribbon in the way. I decided to anchor the ATC's using photo corners, then I can pull them out and see the back if I want/need to. (I only used one long piece of ribbon but you could use two if you wanted to, I wont cry.)

And here's the front cover, I didn't want it too fancy because lets be honest, it'll rarely be seen...LOL. I used some new Pink Paislee paper on this, the letters are Basic Grey punch outs from the Infuse collection.

Sorry, I couldn't wait any longer!

Okay lets clear the air here a bit. I am an overachiever by nature. If you tell me to do something I will complete the task quickly and with an added flourish. Well, this first ATC swap I joined is no exception. Technically the sign up doesn't close until the 17th...and technically I may not be done making these if more people sign up, but that's okay with me. I made 4 extra ones for last minute stragglers. But honestly, they were pretty easy to make because they are so small.
Now for the over achievering...I am weird. I admit that. I save the clear bags that my scrap supplies come in. They are perfect for packing small embellies, favors etc. for swaps and raks. So anyway, the little packs that studio g $1 stamps come in are PERFECTLY sized for ATCs!! So I put all my ATC's into its own little package and then I couldn't just leave it at that, I decorated cute little bag toppers too. (I really need a life....LOL!) The way I see it, this is something special and I dont want to have my name attatched to some half-assed thrown together work, right? I take pride in my work and want it to show, so you bet i'm going to add every little extra touch I can think of.
