I have a confession...

Please dont throw your ATGs at me...but I dont like name brand Stickles.....Okay I'm ducking for cover....

I think for me, the glitter to glue ratio is too glitter heavy for my tastes. I like a very thin layer of "sparkle" and I prefer clear and pearlescent glitter. Stickles for some reason is so glitter heavy that I have a hard time maintaining the integrity of the image beneath the stickles (meaning you cant see what's underneath the glitter), and that bugs me. I like to accent not cover my art. Sooo...I buy the cheapo jumbo glitter glues from Michaels. I dont have a container to look at the manufacturer though, I empty them into clean jam jars and dip paint brushes and embossing stylus' into them instead of using the squeeze tubes. That's another gripe of mine, I dont care how fine that tip is, it is NOT my friend. I prefer to control how much glitter I apply not hope and pray I dont get a glitter glob in the middle of my thin line....LOL.

So here's a picture of my glitter jars...I want more, scratch that, I NEED more....LOL. I want to have a few greenish ones too, so I need to hit up the store when I have some more moolah. But I am picky about my glitters, I dont like the colored metallic glitter.

Cool!!! I'll have to check them out when I'm at Mike's next. :) What a great way to store them. You are so resourceful and creative.

I dont really like them either, I always have a hard time squeezing it out and have to constantly shove a pin in there and now it comes out too heavy. I will probably try your way out! Thanks!

I use the stickles when I want a stripe of glitter or when a blob is required. I understand the idea of not covering your picture or design and I wouldn't use Stickles for that purpose either. Love your little jars!!!

um... so where do you get the glitter! I need some :D I use crayola glitter glue and squeeze some on piece of paper and use an embossing stylus to apply too!
