Weekend Whimsie...

Today I have a couple more Whimsie Doodles cards to share with you all, I wanted to show you all this fabulous new set of Red Rubber stamps, its called Every Other Day. And I love love love it! These stamps come on the cling mount already, you just need to cut them out and get stamping. :)

A new Sweet Stop Sketch :)

Todays post is gonna be a quick one, I am super tired and my coffee is almost finished brewing...lol. By the way, I noticed this morning on my fresh bag of starbucks beans that they had an offer for a free tall cup of brewed coffee if you take in your empty bag within 30 days of the *best before* date. How cool is that? Make sure you check your Starbucks bags!! :)

Okay, now back to the Sweet Stop Sketch...lol. I loved this sketch, so easy to work with! I cant wait to see what everyone comes up with this week!

Whimsie Wednesday Challenge #31

Alright Whimsie fans...I am hosting the Whimsie Wednesday challenge this week on Papercraft Planet. The challenge this week is to create Get Well cards using your favorite Whimsie Doodles image. :) I chose to use the cute bug from the new Stitch Ems set. He is just too cute. ;)

Before I let you leave my blog, I wanted to share with you what I have created using this super adorable new rubber stamp set called Stitch ems. This entire set is filled with such cute images and sayings, its hard to pick which one to share!! But I think I found a cute one to show ya...lol.

Power Outages SUCK.

Okay, everyone. My apologies. I had grand plans of getting my post pre-scheduled before taking off for work and look how well that worked out...lol. By the time I got home and ready to get blogging, the wind knocked out power out for most of the evening. Lovely.

BUT in honor of the power returning to my home, I have a super adorable preview of some new stamps from Whimsie Doodles!! Wooohoooo!! This is a little peek at the super adorable Party Monkey. Seriously, what could be better?! He will be available on May 5th for purchase....oh wait, ya know what, you may as well come back again on the 5th because there is going to be a BLOG HOP too!! :) Yeah, its always a party around here...hehehe. See ya then!!

Cupcake Inspiration Challenge Day!!

Time for a new Cupcake Inspiration Challenge from Hope Stamps Eternal!!

Well, I went a totally different direction with this challenge today. I made a scrapbook page!! BAH! I know, totally unexpected. :) I loved all of these colors, and had some photos I wanted to work with so I went for it.

I mixed a lot of manufacturers in this page, which for some is hard to do. But I kinda just ran with colors rather than patterns that matched perfectly. Hope I pulled it off...lol. The background layer is Basic Grey Nook and Pantry, with some shaped Making Memories paper on top. Oh and a strip of butterflies also by Making Memories, its their Flutter collection.

The large flower element is actually some card stock stickers from the Basic Grey Sugared collection, I mounted them on vellum, then trimmed the vellum larger than the stickers and poked it to make it look a little like lace. Then I went and cut through the stickers to roll up a few of the inner petals. Topped all that off with more stickers mounted on dimensional adhesive. Oh and of course I had to add some ZVA pearls to accent the flowers more. ;)

Insanity: Before and After :)

Well, Beachbody Insanity definitely works folks.

Are you ready?? I still have to take my Fit Test tomorrow, and do my final measurements, but I took my final picture last night after my workout and couldnt wait to share with you just how DRASTIC the difference is, keep in mind, this was only a TWO month program. :) And as you can see, I had a bit to lose. I wasnt enourmous, but I had officially hit that point where I had to shop in the plus sized department at the store, which made me feel so awful about myself that I decided it was time to change that.

I didnt go on a strict diet because I didnt want a chance of backsliding, so I am just eating healthier in general, avoiding most desserts which isnt too hard. Eating more veggies, drinking tons of water, and often times I drink a protien shake after my workouts. It seems to be working fine for me. ;) I am not yet at my goal, I tried on a few size 14 pants at the store the other day and was pleasantly surprised that they fit me finally, but my goal is a size 10, so onward I will go. Next on my list is a Jillian Michaels workout, the 30 day shred. I do well with these pre-planned workouts, but I also got a couple other Jillian Michaels videos that look great. A lot of the moves are similar to INSANITY just at a little lesser intensity. I could use a little bit of a rest now, I have wicked shin splints going on right now..lol.
