I have the most AMAZING news to share with you all. I have all these big aspirations in my head. Okay HUGE really.
I have been trying the last year or so to work toward designing stamps. Well it is finally starting to fall into place. I sent in an inquiry a month or so ago to Unity Stamp Co when I saw a call for illustrators, and I heard back within the hour, I am in! And not only am I in, but their new August Stamp Kit, Following My Heart, has one of my designs in it!! How flippin awesome is that?! (I think that link I just posted will be wrong once the septmeber kit is posted, so dont wait too long to go check it out...lol...my design is the dragonfly in the top right corner by the number 6...so fun!!)
*Please note, since there was confusion...ONLY the dragonfly is my design not the entire kit, I am pretty sure I said that though.
Oh and while I am on the good news here, I was perusing some CHA pics on flickr and saw the pics from the Unity booth, and lo and behold one of my images was used in a new background stamp, and it was at CHA!! I was blown away. It still doesnt feel real to me that I am actually able to pursue things that I am so passionate about. (Honestly, how could anyone NOT think I am passionate about this hobby of ours anyway? LOL)
So I am going to sit down and try to stamp something now, although I am so excited my images may come out crooked...hehehe. Thanks for celebrating with me!! OH and in case you were wondering I will have even more exciting news to share in September...so brace yourselves, because you will be jumping up and down with me all over again!!

Oh Kelli! How wonderful for you! That dragon fly is the CUTEST!! Seriously, it and #19 (the tree) are my favorite in the kit! Congrats. AND I cant' wait to see what you designed in September! I am so proud of you. What an amazing gift you have!

So to make sure I understand, is the whole August kit designed by you? If not, what stamps are yours?? I am hoping to get my KOM any day now!!
