Release Day for Whimsie Doodles!!

Anyone ready for some surfing?? This super sweet design is among the new releases from Whimsie Doodles, this one is called Ride the Wave and this is so perfect for summer projects. Dont forget to keep checking the Whimsie blog for updates and more project samples!!

On my card here I've added some jazz to the image with tons of shading and fun little extras. If you can zoom in a bit, you'll notice he's got some tropical bling around his neck...lol.

And along with the bling, I've given some added boost to the waves by using some liquid applique. After puffing the applique, I dabbed some glitter glue on it to really make it sparkle. And isn't the sentiment button so darn cute?! To really make that sentiment pop! I've mounted the circle on a circle ribbon slide, it's a cuttlebug die by the way, then I mounted a round scallop circle behind my sentiment to give it even more pop!
