Prim Spring Button Tree

Ahhh, does it say spring to you too? (you can click the picture to enlarge it and see better)
I saw this neat button tree idea on flicker and wanted to try to replicate it. I ran a piece of felt through my cuttlebug with a nestabilities die, it cut great! But my felt was ivory and it kinda washed out against my card front, so I dabbed it with some pigment ink and called it a day...lol. My only regret on this card is that I stitched the felt down before adhering the buttons. Oops. No biggie though, it just made it more fun to sew.
Oh and I will be the first to admit here that I am nearly out of adhesive and have been forced to use my sewing machine more on my cards lest they fall apart on me...lol. Although I dont think it's a total hinderance, I mean, I do love the look of stitching on cards.
By the way, the sentiment stamp is daisy bucket, I got it from www.allmomentsremembered.com, along with all of the papers on this card. The tan dots paper is BoBunny double dot cardstock and the graphic tree print is from the offbeat Basic Grey collection. Fun huh?
