Window Card

This was a fun one! I snagged the acetate that came in a package of acrylic stamps (the film used to protect the stamps) to use for the window of this card. I sandwiched the acetate between the card base and patterned paper. And the pink circle is on the front, while the green is on the inside of the card to hide the dimensional adhesive I used for the pink. Oh and that flower is Inkadinkado, the sentiment is supposed to be one small linear stamp, but I masked it and stamped it staggered around the flower because it was just cooler that way. Stickles again, I used black and decided it wasn't sparkly enough and switched to my stand-by cheapo glitter glue from Michaels, I love it because the glitter is irridescant rather than colored so it really reflects the colors better. The ribbon is American Crafts.
Oh and fun news time: There is an all day crop on Saturday (March 8th) at www.allmomentsremembered.com on the message board, come on over!! I get to host one of the challenges!! I will post my challenge here on my blog as well as over on the message board. If you want to prepare in advance for the challenge I personally am hosting then you will need to purchase a plain (un-patterned) gift bag - the kind with handles - doesn't matter what color you choose, go nuts! Other than that, just gather your craft/scrap/cardmaking supplies and have fun!
We've also been informed over at AMR that they are announcing a new design team member from their past finalists, how neat is that? I dont remember who all the finalists were but there were some very talented ladies that applied so whoever gets named: Congratulations! (By the way that announcement will be made some time on Saturday along with their Kit Reveal!) Speaking of the kit...I am so bummed I didn't have the budget to buy one this month. {insert pouty face here!} I am hopefully going to subscribe to their six month kit plan SOON...I just have to convince my husband it's a necessary bill...lol.

Gorgeous!!! I just saved the acetate from something I bought...glad to know I'm not the only one! I love that it's floating...and the colors are unusual, but beautiful together.
