So here's a question for the masses, do you think about time I start watermarking my project photos? I have been noticing I'm getting more and more traffic from forums I dont recognize, many of which are private forums and I have no idea what is being discussed and in what language...lol.
I have been somewhat "anti watermark" for a while now because I just never saw a need to do it, I mean, I'd submit to mags like crazy and never hear word back so I just figured "i guess i'm not good enough". (insert exaggerated eye roll) But I just want to know that my work is actually being credited TO ME, ya know?
So what do you all think? yeah or nay?

To be totally honest I really think you should. You have some really great ideas and I would hate to see you not get credit because someone else submitted your idea. Just lookin' out that's all!

I have actually considered watermarking all images that I post, even the ones of my kids. I read somewhere that people steal images off of blog, especially of other people and use them to create alternate identities on MBs and so forth.

You have lovely projects. I would watermark them if it would make you feel better. To me it seems like a big pain in the rear, but then I am fairly certain noone wants to steal mine. I am not even sure how to wm in the first place. I am assuming you would use some kind of photo editing program
I was thinking about this some more. You might want to think about putting a copyright on your blog too. I mean, by chance someone "steals" an image off of your blog and it would get published, then you'd have some legal options. Just a thought.
i also think you should do this...anyone know how to do this...i am also interested in watermarking my items, especially the photo cards i am currently making....

I agree, you should watermark your images. Your work is beautiful and you deserve full credit for it.
