Christmas 07 Layout

Well, it was a Merry Christmas indeed...and I have finally started to scrap it! If you look closely you will notice I put bling on the christmas tree in the main photo...lol. We were very minimalistic with ornaments this year, the girls are just too grabby to go crazy decorating. And I blanked out our city in the little flip book journaling - that black box isn't there on the actual page. The hardest part of the layout was trying to put the rings on the little journaling book, I mangled a corner but it's not terribly noticeable...I was too lazy to recut the paper and fix it right.
Journaling reads: Every year in [our town] Santa drives around the neighborhoods on a big firetruck. This year Maddie got to run out and say hi to him! She loved it!!
Maddie's list was short this year, all she asked for was "purple" for Christmas! So Santa had to guess. Santa brought the girls Dora the Explorer dolls and coloring books and crayons. And Maddie even got her purple - she got a coloring table to use in front of the t.v. - purple of course!

supplies for this layout:

Worldwin and Bazzill Cardstocks. Patterned paper by DaisyBucket, tons of MAMBI Bling, epoxy elements by KI, eyelets, jump rings, studio g pink pigment ink and a corner rounder punch.

I love that LO. I really like the DiasyBucket papers too. I used that same on my Christmas cards, so it really caught my eye.

Great LO!! I think it's clever how you did the journaling. I'll have to try something clever like that, too!

I LOVE your Christmas layout...fab family photos and all those hidden journaling spots.
