Okay, I want to write. Period. No more lazy half assed excuses.
I will
...write at least 500 words everyday.
...write without worrying about who reads it, that comes later.
...not take it too seriously, perfection has no place in a first draft.
...have fun with this.
...find my true voice, and let it speak.
...complete my first novel within a years' time.
...not let myself be complacent anymore.
...not be a dental lab tech forever.
...succeed.
...face my demons and not be too chicken write.
That said, I've started the great "brain dumping", I'm still in the formation phase, trying to decide what stories i want to tell and how i want to craft my main plot line. I am just shy of 500 words tonight, so i wont let myself go to sleep yet. If I truly want this, i need to get serious. I started blogging last year as a way to get in the habit of writing something on a daily basis and it has served as a reminder to me that I can do this, if I would just give it the effort it deserves. So that's what I'm now doing.
Books I'm currently reading (some relevant, most not so much):
Children of Men, PD James
Girls Guide to Chick Lit, some chick lit author
Writers Workshop Guide, there were far too many contributors to list

I will read what ever you have to write. I love writting. Sometimes it's just the process of letting your brain find the words, other it's the act of just typing. For me, it's finding the actual subject.
Write girly write!
