a friend is forever

Hey Everyone, hope you're all having a wonderful week so far. I haven't had much to do at work the last couple days, so I took off early today. I was all set to clock out and head home at 9:30 this morning, but my boss begged me to wait a bit, so I did some quality control checking and helped out until about 11am, and couldn't justify wasting anymore time so I left. BUT look what I got to do during that newfound free time! That's right, I got to stamp!! woot woot!

This card was the result of my meager attempt at a St. Patties Day card...LOL! Obviously the inspiration took me in another direction, but I'm quite pleased with the final outcome. And I got to use my new sentiment stamp, I snagged Hero Arts "friendship" set from Jo's...get this, it was on clearance for $0.97!! And to think, I almost bought it three months ago at full price of $9.99!! Good thing I waited. (The wooly sheep is a pink cat studio stamp, and the grass is inkadinkado)

Supplies:
Cardstock - Bazzill, DieCuts With a View
Patterned Papers - Pink Paislee (Stripe), Basic Grey (pink floral and green floral), Crate (it light green solid)
Stamps - Hero Arts, Inkadinkado, Pink Cat Studio
Other - Prisma Pencils, Glitter, Ribbon, Mini Brads, MAMBI Bling, Colorbox and Memories Inks, acrylic paint

Super sneeky peek and an update from me!

First of all, lets get this sneek peek out of the way, I mean that's what you're here for right? lol

This is a full 8.5x11 sheet of paper, to give you an idea of scale on the stamps, I am going to be dividing these images into two stamp sets, and am hopefully not going to have to shrink the images. I want to keep them large enough to use a focal images on both cards and other paper craft projects. So cross your fingers....and without further delay:

And now for the boring update...I'm pretty much in my groove at work now, the job is exactly how I remember it and that's fine with me. I am so relieved to have been able to find a job there and even more relieved that I was able to meet my boss' high expectations. That's always stressful when you aren't sure you can be what someone else thinks you are. Did that even make sense?

Anyway, would love some feedback on the images, I know I love them, but I'm not sure how well they will do in the etsy shop. I had higher hopes for the birthday set, I think I've only sold one or two of them if I remember correctly. Oh well, they cant all be winners...lol. I dont have a release date yet, I'm still fine tuning the drawings, then as soon as I get one made and am happy with it I'll let you all know when they will be available.

Thanks for being patient with me through this whole process, you guys rock!
